Fon Bee Hoon (Canteen Operator)

Besides dishing out delicious economic rice at our school canteen,
Ms Fon is also an art enthusiast.
Ms Fon's impressive repertoire in a wide range of medium
enables her to paint and draw still-life very well.
Here is her watercolour piece of a purple iris
commonly found at the Eklutna flats in Alaska.
She is currently working on the background to make the flower "stand out".
Do visit her blog to see more of her art pieces at http://beehiive.blogspot.com/

Painting with Soft Pastels

From a landscape sketch made at the Nanyang Technological University,
Mr. Sebastian Lau uses very broad and free marks
to establish the form and colours of the trees.

Acrylics Painting & Coloured Markers (Primary 4 Budding Artist - Loi Ly Shan)

A talented budding artist applying her understanding
almost immediately after  Mr. Lau's demonstrations.

Mr Sebastian Lau guiding Ly Shan on how to use a ruler
as a mahlstick to steady her hand while painting.

Ly Shan's intricate designs caught our professional photographer,
Mr. Michel Tay's, attention instantly when he walked into our art studio.

A complicated piece of artwork painstakingly rendered with fine coloured markers.

Polymer Clay Modelling 3 (3D Artwork)

Mr. Timothy Lim demonstrates the art of polymer clay modelling
to Wei Teck and Erwin with this original piece of artwork.

Both art pieces are almost ready for the art exhibition.

More Oil Pastels (Primary 4 Budding Artist - Celeste Lim)

Girl By The Window
Oil Pastels
September 2010

Celeste's first attempt in employing the Pointillist approach , achieved  by applying dots of pure colours,  in her artwork  has created rich and interesting textures in her oil pastels painting. Her patience and spirit of experimentation has rewarded her a piece of beautiful abstract figure painting of a girl reading by the window.
